Scouting the streets of Liverpool on the hunt for eye-catching, interesting and trending looks, I found a hand full of scouse citizens sporting heavily music influenced styles, with them mixing leather, denim, vintage, brands and band tee’s contributing to the varied music culture we have today.

People today are more experimental and adventurous with their style, sourcing inspiration from numerous decades. A/W 2011 has the 90′s rearing its debatably ugly head from its grungy glooms, which if done in a Gwen Stefani like manor can take you to the height of cool, with Acid tripping coloured hair, Crystal Bindi’s and rave proof Dr Marten’s, giving you an iconic 90′s look.

People always look at 70′s, punk and glam rock for style inspiration, wrapping themselves in Leather, Latex and DIY-ing safety pins, studs and band patches upon distressed denim–a trend that proves timeless.
